Training

Stable For Sale
$250,000

Nugget's training has been going quite well.  She performs well at walk, trot, and canter, knows her leads, and backs.  Our next goal is to teach her to neckrein.  We are hoping to focus on hunter/jumper with her, though, since she absolutely LOVES to jump.

At Eagle Creek Equestrian Center our goals are to train horses, not to break them. All training sessions are done with resistance-free type methods. We are not harsh to the horse, nor do we use any more equipment than we need to accomplish the training task. We use positive reinforcements and lots of verbal praise in our training sessions. We wish for the horse to become a safe, sane, and reliable equine partner. Not a scared, defeated animal.

*You must sign a waiver, training agreement, boarding contract (if horse is to be boarded here), horse medical form, and horse information sheet.

Options

1. The horse is boarded at the stable for the duration of the training. The boarding fee is $250 per month.

2. The horse is kept at his home and the trainer comes to the property for training sessions.  If the horse is kept at home during the training period, a trip fee will be charged for each training session.  The trip fee depends on the distance the trainer must travel.  Trip fees start at $10.
