Eagle Creek Equestrian Center is now accredited by the Certified
Horsemaship Association! We are one of only 7 CHA accredited stables in the state and approximately
200 nationwide. This involves maintainging a very high standard of horse management, facility safety, and horsemanship
skills. To learn more about this process, please visit the CHA website at www.cha-ahse.org/.
Eagle Creek was featured in the summer 2005 issue of The Instructor, CHA's instructor
magazine which goes out to 5500 CHA members across the nation. We are honored to have this opportunity!
The Instructor
We appreciate all aspects of riding and working with horses. The primary instructor, Jessica
Beohm, is a certified elementary school teacher and an avid rider/trainer. She is also certified
as a riding instructor with the Certified Horsemanship Association. She is competent in both English and
Western disciplines and trains people and horses for dressage, jumping, western pleasure, barrel racing, and many more aspects
of riding with an emphasis on safety, rider's position, and a resistance-free approach with the horse. With a background
in education, she is competent in teaching to various learning styles and abilities, as well as to individuals or groups.
Therefore, lessons may be one-on-one or they may consist of students of various ages and skill levels working on individualized
exercises at the same time.
Jessica's lifetime love of horses, which led to a constant study of all things equine, has attributed
to her competency in working with all types of horses at various skill levels. We do not "break" horses, we "train"
them.
